Mae Questel (September 13, 1908 - January 4, 1998) was an American actress and voice artist.

Born Mae Kwestel within New York City, Questel win a talent contest at a age of Xvii, & began performing on vaudeville. She was seen by Max Fleischer who was looking for an actress to provide a voice for his Betty Boop character. Questel's "Boop-boop-a-doop" routine, neutralize the style similar thereto of the song's mastermind, Helen Kane, was exactly what Fleischer had been wanting to find. From either 1930 until 1939 Questel provided a voice of Betty Boop around further than 150 animated shorts.
